LightWild® Names Deepak S. Sud International Business Development Manager
Overland Park, Kansas – March 14, 2011 – LightWild today announced the appointment of Deepak S. Sud as International Business Development Manager. Sud, an electrical engineer, brings extensive international lighting experience to the company and will focus on increasing LightWild's visibility and awareness throughout the Middle East and India.
Sud will represent LightWild's accent and facade lighting products and the company's Lusio commercial and industrial fixtures, which are sold by Lusio Solid-State Lighting, a division of LightWild.
LightWild's business has increased substantially throughout the Middle East because the company's fixtures are tested and designed to perform in extreme ambient conditions. Projects include the Yas Island Hotel Rotana Hotel in Abu Dhabi, the Dubai Metro Project, and the Qatar National Exhibition Centre Extension.
"We first worked with Deepak on several successful projects in Dubai and Abu Dhabi when he was the Senior Applications Engineer with Gargash Lighting Systems," said Tom Stafford, President and CEO of LightWild and Lusio Solid-State Lighting. Sud received his Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Pune in India and his Master's Degree in Business Administration from the Copenhagen Business School in Denmark. He's worked with multiple lighting companies throughout the Middle East and India and fostered numerous relationships with lighting distributors, contractors and specifiers.
